Using Ipix Interactive Studio Panoramic Images

Can I use Ipix Interactive Studio together with VRbrochure FX?

Ipix Interactive Studio - Due to the popularity of Ipix Interactive Studio, VRbrochure FX now supports display of panoramic images stitched with Ipix Interactive Studio. Take your stitched panoramas and easily produce high quality virtual tours with sounds, hotspots, floorplans and your choice of hundreds of virtual tour templates included with VRbrochure FX.

Exporting from Ipix Interactive Studio

(Note: to export to anything other than IPIX proprietry format you will require the "Format pack")

• After stitching together your hemispherical images into a single equirectangualr panorama with Ipix Interactive Studio, export your panoramic images in JPG format*.
• Save panoramic images to a convenient location on your hard disk and categorize the images accordingly.

* Note: Exporting panoramas to JPG format requires IPIX "Format Pack". Although this is quite expensive ($499) it allows you export in many formats other than the proprietory IPX format. See the IPIX website for more information on the format pack. If you're trying to produce virtual tours on a budget, consider a panoramic stitching application which doesn't require expensive plug-ins.

Importing to VRbrochure FX

1. Start VRbrochure FX, and if you haven't already create a new location and add a new panorama to it.
2. Click the browse button and navigate to the location on your hard disk where you stored your Ipix panoramas and choose a panoramic image.
3. Click to add hotspots, sounds and links to the panorama where required
4. Export and publish your new tour (More info in exporting and publishing can be found in our knowledge base here)
